1950 Bowman FootballThe 1950 Bowman Football set contained (144) cards.Bowman did not publish football cards in 1949. In an agreement with Leaf Card Company, Bowman allowed Leaf to be the exclusive company to print 1949 cards and in exchange Leaf would leave the card market, leaving Bowman an exclusive on Football cards for a few years till Topps entered the market.

1969 Topps Football Four-in-One |
Thru the late 1960's, early 1970's, Topps continued to try new
things as test issues and inserts. 1969 was no different and
along came the 1969 Topps Football Four-in-Ones. Each card was a
perforated panel of (4) mini-cards. Special mini-card albums were
also issued as inserts to hold the mini-cards. Each album had room
for a complete team set of (10) mini-cards. 
There was one variation in which print color and background on
Bill Triplett's and Charlie Johnson's mini-cards varied.
Interestingly, a few of the players on these mini-cards never
appeared on their own regular card . 
It's cool to have a card of your favorite player.
It's even cooler to have your favorite player's jersey or bat.
Well just think how cool it is to have a card of your favorite player
embedded with a piece of his bat or jersey that he used in a real major league game !!!
