They range from hard thick acrylic screw-down holders to "penny" soft sleeves for individual cards to cardboard boxes that can hold from 100 cards upto "monster boxes" that hold more than 5,000 sportscards.

1955 Topps All-American Football

In 1955, college football was much more popular with fans than the NFL. This 100 card 1955 Topps All-American Football card set was Topps response to collectors. Topps first major football issue this unique set features the greatest college football players from the first half of the 20th century.

The 1955 Topps All-American football card set was issued in one-card penny packs, nine-card nickel packs and 22-card cello packs. The set is jam packed with rookies and stars !!! One of the most valuable 1955 Topps All-American football cards is the rookie card of former Supreme Court Justice Whizzer White.

Great little odd ball set with interesting fronts and backs.
Cards were issued in 1991 as a promotional lead-in for an upcoming sportscard magazine to be named "Cardboard Dreams". The cards were given away at several Southern California and a couple of regional baseball card shows in random 1-card envelopes.

Unfortunately, shortly before the magazine's 1st issue, Major League Baseball and other agencies began several law suits against similar magazines. Before the dust settled, plans for the magazine were dropped leaving just the small run of promotional cards and a few color proof variations.

The set includes the following cards:
