A: There is a wide variety of storage supplies available to help you keep your cardsin the best condition possible. They range from hard thick acrylic screw-down holders to "penny" soft sleeves for individual cards to cardboard boxes that can hold from 100 cards upto "monster boxes" that hold more than 5,000 sportscards.

1967 Topps WHO AM I ?

It's easy to see why the 1967 Topps "Who Am I? set is a favorite of both sports and non- sport collectors. The set's 44 cards feature mostly important figures from world history but what makes this set even more popular was the inclusion of 4 of baseball's most popular players: Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, Sandy Koufax and Willie Mays (pictured above) !!!

The players picture on the front is covered with a scratch-off disguise with silly, exaggerated features like hair, moustaches, hats, noses... and a clue to help kids identify the famous person pictured. The backs contained additional clues and instructions to "Scratch off disguise on front to discover Who I Am. Use a coin or fingernail."

Cards with their scratch-off coating intact are worth many, many times cards with the coatings removed. For example, NM/MINT Mickey Mantle with the coating is in the $200-$400 range while a NM/MINT Mantle with the coating removed is closer to $50.

Cards came in wax packs with 24 packs per box and the set is packed with desirable cards: Shakespear, Abe Lincoln, George Washington, Einstein, Queen Elizabeth, Joan of Arc, Julius Caesar, Columbus and Jackie Kennedy to name just a few.

1957 Topps Football Cards
Checklist & Values

In 1957 Topps created the start of the modern day card by reducing the size of their cards to the current standard of 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. Topps not only changed the size of their cards, they also increased the size of the set to 154 players. Lastly, they dramatically changed the card format to a horizontal split-card. The player selection was incredible with 31 players eventually reaching the Football Hall of Fame. Jam packed with stars - Topps did leave out a few like Jim Brown and Len Dawson. The top rookies were Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas & Paul Hornung. The only known variation is card #58 Willard Sherman of the Rams.

1955 Topps Double-Headers (Doubleheaders)
Baseball Cards Set checklist/info

Without a doubt this is my favorite set - PERIOD. Regular issue, test issues, inserts ... whatever ... this is # 1 !!!

Patterned after the famous Mecca Double Folders issued in the early 1900's, these colorful 2 1/16" x 4 7/8" cards are actually 2-cards-in-1! They are perforated in the center and depending on which way you fold the card you create cards of 2 different players. Unperforated 1955 Topps DoubleHeaders can sometimes be found.

A 1955 Topps DoubleHeaders wrapper at left.
All 132 players (66 cards) in the 1955 Topps DoubleHeaders set were also in Topps regular issue. Interestingly, images for the DoubleHeaders were taken from the action images on regular 1955 Topps ..or.. vice-a-versa.
One of the special aspects of this beautiful set is that when layed side-by-side they form spectacular scenes from actual stadiums !!! Old-timers - can you identify the stadiums ?

TOP ROOKIES: Harmon Killebrew & Hal Newhouser
Top STARS: Ted Williams, Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Jackie Robinson, Al Kaline, Warren Spahn & MORE !!!

No doubt about it - the best !!!
